2nd World 17Gompers was awake before she felt the water hit her. It was that cold. She clutched at her heart and stared at the man who’d thrown it on her. He had on a black t-shirt and some black jeans. His hair was a mess and he had on the cockiest little smile ever seen. Above his head was the name ‘Fate’. Gompers stared at him and blinked for a few seconds. He smiled back at her.
